What's On My Mind

I've been busy playing Infamous lately. Man, what a great game. If you only own an Xbox 360 or a Wii you're missing out big time! Game of the year so far for me. It's a blast, and my current gaming addiction.

I'm no longer blogging for ThisXboxLife. I've had some things going on lately. I'm better off blogging about a wide range of things here on my personal blog. Blogging about only Xbox related news felt limited. No hard feelings whatsoever to the crew at ThisXboxLife. You guys still rule.

It's time to start thinking about putting in pre-orders for games I definitely want to buy. Beatles Rockband and Modern Warfare 2 are two of those games I'm definitely buying. Amazon will be getting my cash for those.

Bought a new Laptop this past weekend. Windows Vista isn't that bad, but man is it a resource hog. I still prefer XP for sure.

I finally created a facebook account. I've been tired of Myspace for ages. Facebook basically feels like a Myspace for adults who can spell and don't act like a bunch of ghetto morons. Bye Bye Myspace.

I'm thinking about picking up a scanner so I can scan some old pics of me as well as my father. If anyone knows of a good scanner at a good price let me know.

Hockey season starts in a little over two months. Can't wait to see my Stars in action starting October 3!!! GO STARS!!!

Found a pretty cool site for streaming music last night called Slacker.com. Pretty decent selection of music.

Latest food addictions = Swiss Miss Fudge Bars, Fiber One Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins, Steamed Broccoli, and Fresh Pineapple.

If I was still the fast food junkie that I was years ago I probably would have eaten at the Sonic that arrived in town late last year. I still haven't eaten there yet. These days I eat at decent restaurants with real food. If I do eat fast food I always pick Qdoba or Culvers.

My Saturdays have been free lately due to a blown motor in my nephew's stock car. I always have stuff to do, but being at the races is fun.

I'm still enjoying my Mustang, but it's dirty at the moment. I can never wash the damn thing because it seems like rain is always in the forecast.

Infamous is my gamer of the year. In don't see myself enjoying any game as much as this in 2009.
I loved COD4. I have to buy that on ebay used, and buy Modern Warfare when I can.

I'm on facebook. It's cool.

I just got refunded for my PC I have to wait for it to get credited my my Visa. Tomorrow I can shop for a new desktop, again. I'm gonna get a intel quap CPU with at least 4 gigs ram. Main thing is I want a quad CPU.

I just got past the first section. FUCK. That bitch wouldn't die. I couldn't figure out that you had to aim towards that circle when you were slamming the X button. This might be the greatest game I've ever played! I have to figure out how to use the new power, where after sliding across the buildings you can fly for a bit to the next rope. My favorite though, is riding the rails of the railroad tracks. Incredible! Plus, jumping from a tall building I get that falling sensation. :)

I'm so glad you love this game like I do. It's so fun that I definitely have to go back and play evil. It's a great game that definitely deserves a sequel. What's also awesome about Infamous is that it actually feels like it's worth 60 bucks.

Hopefully this time you get the pc that you order!

COD4 rules. I'm sure Modern Warfare 2 will be just as good if not better.

Just finished Infamous. The end boss wasn't all that difficult on medium difficulty. The end story is kinda whacky, but whatever. Great game!

Do you plan on getting COD:MW2 and Beatles on your PS3 or Xbox 360? I have both pre-ordered for 360 and will be glad to rock out or kill with you on 360.

Wing, I'm definitely getting both of those games on the 360. The only games I'll buy on the ps3 are ps3 exclusives. The 360 is my console of choice and where multiplayer games rule. We definitely MUST hook up and play those games. I plan on putting a lot of time into Modern Warfare 2. I may even drop my gamefly account to focus on certain games coming out this fall.

About Me

My photo
Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States
I'm 38. I'm addicted to Xbox 360 gaming and Dallas Stars hockey. I make a decent living at a boring job where I run two autoclaves and do various other tasks. My escape from this boring as hell life is video games, hockey, and music. I generally listen to Metal music, but I also love 80's tunes as well as 70's tunes. I have an unusual love for the band Overkill. They do it for me for some reason. Blitz is GOD!
